DATA EQUATION

1 nanometer (1nm) = 1/1000000000 of a meter

SO FOR INSTANCE-

BLUE HAS A WAVELENGTH OF 450 NM WITH A HIGH FREQUENCY WHILE RED HAD A LOWER FREQUENCY AS ITS WAVELENGTH IS LONGER, 700 NM, SCALING THIS IS TRICKY. HOWEVER IT CAN BE AS SIMPLE AS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO HIGH POINTS OF THE WAVE TRANSLATED INTO CM.

I.E 70 CM BECOMES THE WAVELENGTH WITHIN MY MOVING INFO-GRAPHIC.

BENJAMIN DUCROZ

his simplistic use of hand crafted wood, means this piece is simple and beautiful. however it leaves the audience with a “whats the point” as nothing is addressed nor answered. i realise that that is its nature, but i want people to at least grasp an idea of what im showing them. it is speciffically representing the wavelength of colours
